RatePAY founder Miriam Wohlfarth wins MPE Personality Award February 28, 2017

Last week, Miriam Wohlfarth, founder and CEO of RatePAY, was awarded the prestigious MPE Personality Award. According to the Merchant Payments Ecosystem (MPE), the prize is awarded to a person who makes an exceptional contribution to the development of payment transactions. The MPE also paid tribute to Miriam Wohlfarth’s great commitment to the payment industry in handing over the award.

Miriam Wohlfarth advises and supports organizations such as the Merchant Risk Council (MRC), the Women’s Council of HypoVereinsbank (HVB) and Women in Digital e.V. Moreover, Wohlfarth was the brains behind various events such as the Payment Exchange and the Payment Insider as well as the “Goldene Transaktion”, a German payment award.

Miriam Wohlfarth held various management positions in sales and business development for international payment and e-commerce companies before founding the payment service provider RatePAY in 2009, which is today part of the Otto Group. In December, Wohlfarth was presented with “myself” magazine’s Digital Female Leader Award.
