Ratepay was once a wholly owned subsidiary of the Otto Group. Since 2017, we have been part of Advent International and Bain Capital as an independent payment brand within the Nets A/S network.

The Management.

Sabrina Flunkert

Sabrina Flunkert is the Chief Financial Officer at Ratepay and is responsible for the entire finance and accounting department. With over 11 years of experience in the financial sector, she is the former General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of the Avenso Group as well as a Private Equity Director at the Swedish financial investor EQT Partners.

Nicolas Kipp

Nicolas Kipp is the Chief Risk Officer at Ratepay and heads the Risk Management Team overseeing the areas of Merchant Risk, Consumer Risk, Machine Learning and Business Intelligence. In addition, Nicolas is responsible for risk controlling as well as all regulatory matters at Ratepay. Previously, he was a former Senior Consultant at a top management consultancy firm with focus on financial services.

Friderike Schröder

Friderike Schröder is the Chief Human Resources Officer. She is responsible for the People & Organization division with focus on organization development, agile transformation and employer branding. She is a business graduate with over 10 years of experience in HR and Recruiting. Prior to her current role, she served as the HR Division Manager at the online consumer portal Verivox. In that role, she was instrumental in setting up the personnel area of the internet platform Rocket Internet.

Nina Pütz
Head of Ratepay

As Head of Ratepay, Nina Pütz works closely with the management team in an advisory role, focusing on marketing and sales. With more than 15 years of experience in e-commerce, she most recently served as managing director of the online shopping club brands4friends and in various management roles at the online marketplace eBay.

Luise Linden
Managing Director, CTO

Luise Linden is CTO and Managing Director at Ratepay and is responsible for the back office. She is in charge of product engineering, IT infrastructure and IT service operations, thus ensuring the development and 24/7 operation of Ratepay products. Since 2011, the graduate computer scientist has been part of the Ratepay team and previously, as Director Product & Development, was instrumental in driving the agile transformation.

Philipp Schaaf

Philipp Schaaf is the Chief Operating Officer at Ratepay and thereby responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the business. In addition to the key areas of debtor management, customer services and SAP development, he is driving forward marketplace and financing related topics. Before joining Ratepay, he was a business graduate and he undertook a wide range of roles in the Otto Group, having worked for several years in China.

Denny Morawiak

Denny Morawiak is the Chief Commercial Officer at Ratepay and is responsible for the market division. With over 12 years of experience in e-commerce and the consulting industry, he most recently served as Director EU Merchandising Services for Wayfair and previously as Asscociate Partner for McKinsey & Company.

Miriam Wohlfarth
Managing Director, Founder

Miriam Wohlfarth is the founder and Managing Director of Ratepay GmbH and is responsible for the areas of marketing and distribution. With over 20 years of experience in online payment, Miriam is not only a true payment expert; she also keeps the entire scene up to date with regular articles, interviews and podcasts.
